PRE-REQUISITES: Strongly suggest prior experience with spinning on aerial sling/silks
Introducing oour first ever Lyra workshop featuring the wildly talented Natash Dominguez!
This workshop is designed for aerial students new to the aerial lyra/hoop and curious about exploring movement and flow on a circular, bar-based apparatus.
In this workshop, we’ll build on existing comfort with a swivel while introducing the foundational language of single-point lyra. We’ll explore how shapes connect, creating simple, accessible sequences that emphasize smooth transitions, breath, and embodied movement to music.
Natasha is an experienced aerialist and certified and insured aerial instructor.
What We’ll Explore:
Lyra-specific warm-up and conditioning
Foundational mounts, shapes, and bar pathways
Controlled spinning/ momentum management
Flowy sequencing and transitions
Who This Is For:
Aerial students new to lyra or with limited prior experience. Familiarity with aerial movement and single-point spinning is helpful but not required.
Let's get to fly! Register HERE!
We will be taking turns on the apparatus!
