This beginner hoop dance class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of how to flow with a hula hoop. We'll cover both on-body and of-body tricks, building a solid foundation for your hoop dance journey.
Here's what we'll cover:
*On-Body Basics: Hula hooping on your waist, bringing a hoop overhead into a lasso, knee hooping and more!
*Off-Body Tricks: Learn exciting of-body moves like isolations, folds, weaves, palm spins, and jump throw moves.
*Flow Combinations: We'll put our moves into a short dance flow so you can express yourself through movement.
*Free Flow Hooping: If time allows, we'll end the lesson with some free flow to explore your newfound skills!
Let's get ready to hoop!
We will supply all the hula hoops necessary, but if you have your own, feel free to bring 'em on in!
