Yoga started for me during a work lay-off. It calmed my mind. It gave me a space for clarity and my body learned to find peace in every pose. Then on a trip to visit my daughter in NYC - we both took an Aerial Yoga class together. This is where it all began - I wanted everyone to share this wonderful form of Yoga. I started my training and built a tiny dream for all to enjoy. I acquired my Yoga Teacher Certification training from "The Abhyasa Yoga Institute" in Meredith, NH with Christina Alexa at Sacred Waters Yoga. I then went on a journey back to New York for Aerial Yoga Certification at "Om Factory" in New York City.

My yoga journey started when Jaine opened her studio. I have enjoyed every moment learning beside her. I found in yoga a calmness of the mind, confidence and have become grounded.
Feeling inspired I soon took the next step and enrolled in a 200 hour teacher training at the Abhyasa Yoga Institute with Christina Alexa in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. I will always be a student of the practice and deeply grateful for loving wisdom that Jaine and Christina continue to share with me.
Join me for a class of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to help deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga. My hope is when you step off the mat that you have created a balance within and feel rejuvenated.
My class welcomes everyone regardless of yoga experience. You will be challenged in a playful supportive way to reach beyond your perceived limitations.
As you learn more about yourself you'll naturally want to discover more about the mystery of life and the connections we share together.
Joyce has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Over the years she has had incredible yoga teachers that continued to inspire, challenge and encourage her to reach her ‘edge’ and grow! Her experience thru the years made her realize that she too would like to do the same when she became a yoga instructor. Yoga has become a place she goes to feel grounded and rejuvenated.
She graduated from the Yoga NH teacher training in December 2016.
Joyce, as a business owner, married and mother of 2, has a life that is full. “Yoga has always kept me grounded and feeling 100% alive, I love the way I feel after practicing yoga, completely ‘open’, calm and healthy. I want the same for the students that come in and practice on their mats”.
Joyce’s blended style ranges from gentle Hatha to a more vigorous vinyasa flow. She respects the various needs of others and so her attention is always on modification, assists and adjustments for the students.
